Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Christian School Teacher to join our team. This role involves integrating biblical principles into all subjects, teaching biblical truths, modeling Christian values, and providing spiritual mentorship. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, a deep knowledge of scripture, and a genuine passion for Christian education.
Core Responsibilities Biblical Integration:
o Integrate biblical principles into all subjects, demonstrating how these themes are relevant across the curriculum.o Use the Bible to enrich learning experiences in various academic areas.
Teaching Biblical Truth:
o Effectively teach biblical truths and guide students' spiritual development.o Maintain a deep knowledge of scripture and be able to articulate its relevance to daily life.
Modeling Christian Values:
o Reflect Christ-like values in interactions with students, colleagues, and the community.o Be an active example of Christian virtues such as love, patience, and kindness.
Spiritual Mentorship:
o Guide students in developing a personal relationship with God.o Provide spiritual guidance and support, acting as a shepherd to the students.
Academic Excellence:
o Utilize effective teaching methods and stay current with educational research.o Maintain high academic standards and contribute to curriculum development. Preparation for the
Future:
o Equip students with skills valuable in college and the workforce, such as critical thinking and problem-solving.
Character Development and Discipline:
o Foster character growth through positive reinforcement and a safe, respectful environment.o Enforce school rules with fairness and grace, ensuring consistency and equality.
Communication and Collaboration:
o Maintain regular communication with parents and be available for parent-teacher conferences.o Collaborate with other staff to ensure consistent expectations and support.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (minimum) in a relevant field such as Education, theology, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 1 year teaching experience in a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of biblical theology and its application in education.
  • Proficiency in curriculum development and integration of faith-based learning.

            • Familiarity with special education and intervention
