Position Overview Provide specialized instruction in a self-contained elementary Life Skills classroom for students with moderate to severe disabilities. Develop and implement individualized instruction and classroom supports aligned with students' IEP goals. Monitor student progress, maintain required documentation, and collaborate with school staff and families to support student development and success. Create a structured, supportive classroom environment that promotes academic, behavioral, communication, and functional skill development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field Valid Texas Special Education Certification with appropriate authorization for elementary grades K-5 Valid Texas Content Area or Generalist Certification for grades 1-5 Experience supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities and/or in a self-contained special education setting preferred Why Join Cross Country Education?
