9685446-78148 Job Description Make a positive impact on young learners as a Special Education professional supporting students near Universal City, TX. This full-time, contract opportunity is designed for educators with a passion for exceptional student services and expertise across SPED and dyslexia support. With immediate openings, youll play a crucial role in fostering student growth from EC through 6th grade in self-contained and life skills settings, as well as serve as a dedicated Dyslexia Case Manager. Your background, compassion, and ability to adapt instruction will help promote the success of diverse learners. In this role, youll work collaboratively with teams to tailor instruction, manage IEPs, and offer targeted reading intervention as you split your time across two elementary campuses. The contract extends through May 27, 2027, allowing you to develop meaningful connections and guide students on their educational journeys.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education certification (must cover both generalist and all-level SPED) Previous teaching experience with EC-6th grade students in self-contained or life skills settings Familiarity with dyslexia intervention strategies, reading instruction experience preferred Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Expertise in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Deliver differentiated, individualized instruction in self-contained, generalist, and life skills classrooms Serve as Dyslexia Case Manager, focusing on effective reading intervention across two campuses Develop, track, and update IEPs for students Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student success Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment for all learners Maintain accurate data and records to support student progress This is an incredible opportunity to expand your impact as a special educator in a dynamic school environment.
