Job Description

Bring your expertise as an Educational Diagnostician to a dynamic school environment near Victoria, TX. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 2026 through the end of the school year, allowing you to work closely with students, educators, and families to promote successful educational outcomes.
Qualifications:
Valid Educational Diagnostician certification Proven experience in school-based assessment and diagnosis Strong knowledge of federal and state special education regulations Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct assessments using a variety of standardized tools and observation techniques Accurately document evaluation results, findings, and recommendations Offer ongoing consultative support to instructional staff regarding academic and behavioral interventions Support compliance with special education timelines and documentation requirements Maintain an appropriate caseload, providing timely and effective service to each student
