We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Academic & Behavior Interventionist to join our team in a full-time capacity, primarily supporting scholars in grades 9-12 (with the possibility of also supporting grades 6-8). In this role, you will work directly with scholars in the classroom and in pull-out settings, helping implement targeted academic and behavioral interventions under the direction of the classroom and special education teachers. Your work will help foster positive learning environments, promote engagement, and support academic growth. This is an opportunity to work closely with educators, scholars, and families to help deliver tailored strategies that meet individual needs and support inclusive learning. Responsibilities Support the assessment of scholars to help identify academic strengths, areas for growth, and behavioral needs. Help implement evidence-based intervention plans aligned with scholars' IEPs and learning goals. Provide direct academic support in literacy, math, and study skills, both in the classroom and during pull-out sessions, individually or in small groups. Apply behavior support strategies to help create a positive, supportive learning environment. Track and document scholar progress and intervention data, and communicate updates clearly with mentors and administrators. Collaborate with mentors, special education staff, and related service providers as part of a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) addressing varying levels of scholar need. Assist in reviewing scholar performance data with scholar support team to help identify whether interventions are working and where adjustments may be needed. Skills Experience or strong interest in working with scholars with disabilities, academic gaps, or behavioral support needs, ideally at the secondary (middle/high school) level. Familiarity with assessment-driven instruction and data-informed intervention approaches. Comfort using digital tools (LMS or similar platforms) to track progress and document interventions. Skilled in conflict resolution and behavior support strategies. Ability to follow and help carry out intervention plans designed by a supervising mentor with sound judgment in the moment. Familiarity with special education/Section 504 compliance basics and best practices in inclusive education is a plus. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with mentors or staff. Background in math or literacy instruction is a plus. Willingness to learn is essential. Why Paradigm?
