This full-time position, based near Charles City, VA, offers consistent hours from 8:45am to 4:15pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week. Youll provide both push-in support within general education classrooms and targeted pull-out services, ensuring each students individualized needs are met according to their IEPs.

Key Qualifications:

Valid credentials to teach Special Education Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred Ability to manage a caseload for up to 14 students Strong skills in IEP development, writing, and implementation Confident with progress monitoring and data-driven instruction Effective collaboration with both general and special education staff Excellent written and verbal communication

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver instructional and behavioral support in both general education and specialized settings Implement tailored pull-out services per students IEP goals Guide the IEP process from drafting to completion, ensuring compliance Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed Actively participate in meetings and ongoing team communication Foster inclusive and supportive classroom environments through partnership with colleagues This contract role offers hourly pay ranging from $31 to $34, with eligibility for healthcare benefits and 401k participation.
