Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to early childhood development standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Provide high-quality classroom instruction that supports child development, behavior management, and classroom management strategies. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through clear communication and collaborative engagement. Lead classroom activities that promote early intervention, childhood welfare, and preschool readiness while adhering to mandated reporting laws. Manage daily transportation duties as a van driver, ensuring the safe pick-up and drop-off of children according to schedule while maintaining vehicle safety protocols. Conduct regular assessments of children's progress using standardized testing methods and document developmental milestones accurately. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning in accordance with early childhood education best practices. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or toddler care environments. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management, behavior management, and child development instruction. Experience with special education needs and early intervention programs is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver preferred. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood development or childhood education are a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with parents, children, and team members. $14.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
