Skills and Experience Desired:
Valid teaching certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) or eligibility for certification Experience working with school-aged students facing hearing impairments Strong understanding of language acquisition and communication modalities for DHH learners Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Excellent collaborative skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is preferred Effective verbal and written communication abilities Creative problem-solving and adaptability in various educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
