The assignment runs from August 21st through early January, aligning with the academic calendar—students return August 26th. You'll manage a caseload of approximately 10-15 students (last year's average was 12) with a range of abilities, including learning disabilities, health impairments, and those on the autism spectrum. The school highly values educators with expertise in structured literacy approaches—training or experience with Orton Gillingham or Wilson is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to diverse needs Deliver engaging instruction using evidence-based, structured learning methodologies Collaborate seamlessly with general educators, support staff, and families Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulations Attend relevant meetings and contribute to a supportive school culture

Schedule & Benefits:
