Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Washington State Special Education Teacher License and Certification (required) Ability to obtain or willingness to obtain fingerprint clearance through OSPI Experience delivering individualized instruction and accommodations in special education settings Strong understanding of IEPs and differentiated instructional strategies Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment Effective communication skills to engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

Instruct students in a Learning Resource Center (LRC1) at the elementary level, tailoring support based on individual education plans Design, implement, and modify curriculum to meet diverse learning needs Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff Track and report on student progress, maintaining necessary records in compliance with district and state requirements Cultivate positive relationships with students and their families Ensure a safe, respectful, and motivating classroom climate In this role, youll have the chance to work closely with a dedicated educational team while making a lasting impact in the lives of young learners.
