Responsibilities Provide flexible classroom coverage across multiple early childhood settings, including preschool, toddler care, and special education classrooms. Support classroom management and behavior management strategies to maintain a safe and respectful environment for children. Engage children in child development instruction tailored to their individual needs, including early intervention techniques when necessary. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare. Maintain classroom organization, adhere to health and safety standards such as first aid and CPR certification, and ensure compliance with all licensing regulations. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development, and preschool teaching methodologies. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, standardized testing, and tutoring techniques for young learners. Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is a plus. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families. Classroom experience in daycare or private school environments is advantageous. Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is required. Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments while maintaining a positive attitude and energetic presence.
