Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Special Education professional in a dynamic school district near Kelso, WA. This full-time, onsite contract role offers a chance to make a meaningful difference while collaborating across several school buildings. Youll play a key part in compliance by managing essential paperwork and supporting students and staff through the end of the 2026-2027 school year.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid and active Special Education (SPED) Certification or License Experience working with K-12 students preferred Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail Professionalism and flexibility to adapt to multiple sites within the school district Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work well independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain up-to-date, accurate special education documentation and paperwork Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student needs are met Travel to various school sites within the district as assigned Support compliance with state and federal special education regulations Develop or update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Serve as a resource for staff regarding special education processes and best practices
