Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a difference supporting K-12 students as a contract Special Education Teacher in a dynamic educational setting. This rewarding opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated school staff and positively impact the academic journey of students with diverse needs. The position is full-time and on-site through June 2027, working across multiple buildings with a focus on paperwork and compliance for special education services. What we're looking for: Current and active Special Education Teaching Certification/License Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting Excellent organizational skills, especially in managing paperwork and IEP documentation Ability to travel between school buildings within the district Strong communication and teamwork abilities Commitment to the values of inclusion and accessibility in education Key responsibilities: Oversee and complete special education paperwork, including IEPs, evaluations, and related documentation Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Serve a caseload of students across kindergarten to twelfth grade, adapting to various educational environments Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and federal guidelines Participate in meetings, planning sessions, and school-wide initiatives to foster a supportive learning atmosphere Ensure services provided meet established requirements and best practices within special education Benefits you'll enjoy: Consistent, full-time hours in a contract position Opportunity to gain experience in different school buildings and with a range of age groups Supportive team environment and access to professional resources Ready to bring your expertise, compassion, and attention to detail to a school community that values educators?
