Job Description

Make an impact in the lives of elementary students as a dedicated Special Education Teacher. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity extends through June 11, 2027, and allows you to support a vibrant school community serving children with various disabilities. Your role will be essential in providing tailored educational experiences, developing IEPs, and collaborating with families and other specialists. With a consistent Monday-Friday schedule of 7.5 hours each day, you'll have the time to build meaningful connections and help students reach their potential.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Washington State Special Education Teacher certification is required Experience working with elementary-aged children across a range of disabilities preferred Ability to effectively design, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Strong communication skills to work with parents, staff, and other professionals Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver personalized instruction to meet diverse student needs Manage IEP development, documentation, and regular evaluation Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and administrators Advocate for accommodations and resources to ensure student success Maintain records and ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines This position offers a full-time, stable assignment with opportunities to make a tangible difference.
