Job Description

Heres an excellent opportunity to put your Special Education expertise to work within a supportive school setting near Longview, WA. We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite contract position available immediately, continuing through June 11, 2027. As a valued member of this educational community, you'll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across multiple school buildings, focusing primarily on essential documentation and compliance-related tasks. Youll help ensure that all students receive the individualized support they need to thrive.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current and active Special Education Teaching Certification or License. Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in multi-site or multi-building settings. Strong understanding of special education paperwork, compliance, and IEP development. Ability to manage shifting priorities and travel between school sites as needed. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Adaptability and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete and manage special education paperwork, including IEPs, evaluations, and progress reports. Coordinate with general and special education staff across several academic buildings. Serve as a resource for students, families, and teachers regarding special education processes and accommodations. Participate in team meetings to support the development and implementation of individualized educational programs. Remain current on state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
