Your expertise as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired will empower students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Qualifications:

Valid certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired or Visually Impaired Teacher Experience working with K-12 students with visual impairments is preferred Strong understanding of assistive technology and accommodations for visually impaired learners Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Core Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative instructional support to K-12 students with visual impairments Assess student abilities and adapt curriculum, materials, and methods as necessary Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and support staff to facilitate student success and inclusion Teach skills to promote independence, including orientation, mobility, and use of assistive technology Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including IEPs and progress reports Offer guidance and resources to families to support their childs educational goals In this role, youll receive pay at $45+ per hour, reflecting the expertise you bring to the classroom.
