We're currently hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher for a school-based position in Chilton, Wisconsin for the 2026-2027 school year . This is an on-site position for an educator who is passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and creating an inclusive environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed. About the Role As a Special Education Teacher, you'll work closely with students, families, general education teachers, related service providers, and school teams to provide individualized instruction and support based on each student's IEP. You'll play an important role in helping students develop academically, socially, and functionally while ensuring that their individual learning needs are being met. Schedule Full-time In-person / on-site in Chilton, Wisconsin Monday-Friday school schedule Start as soon as possible 2026-2027 school year Opportunity for continued placement based on performance and school needs What You'll Do Provide individualized and small-group special education instruction Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies based on individual student needs Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate documentation Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and school administrators Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress Support students with academic, behavioral, social, and functional goals Maintain required special education documentation and compliance records Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment What You'll Need Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education, Education, or a related field Appropriate Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) teaching license or eligibility for Wisconsin licensure Special Education teaching credentials appropriate for the assigned student population Knowledge of IEP development and implementation Understanding of special education laws, documentation, and compliance requirements Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary school teams Experience working with students with disabilities preferred Ability to work on-site in Chilton, Wisconsin Availability to begin as soon as possible What Makes Liricare Different Transparent compensation: Know what you're earning from the beginning Dedicated support: Our School Services team is available throughout your placement to help with onboarding, scheduling, and district coordination Professional community: Connect with educators, therapists, and other school professionals through the Liricare community Career opportunities: Access school-based opportunities across the country as your career and preferences evolve Responsive onboarding: We work closely with you to make the transition into your new position as smooth as possible Compensation $45-$50 per hour , depending on experience, qualifications, and applicable employment structure.
