Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid teaching certification in Special Education Experience working with students in autism programs, early childhood, or high school intellectual disability settings Specialized knowledge and/or endorsements in elementary special education and behavioral interventions Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to specific student strengths and needs Deliver engaging instruction and classroom activities for elementary, early childhood, or high school students with disabilities Assess student progress and adjust instructional methods to maximize achievement Collaborate with general educators, paraprofessionals, and related service staff Facilitate parent meetings, IEP development, and conferences Employ positive behavior interventions and supports for student success
