This full-time contract role offers a unique chance to work closely with dedicated teams, support students' learning growth, and help foster positive behavioral outcomes. With three positions available, you'll contribute your expertise in special education and behavioral management to create a supportive and inclusive environment for young learners.
What You'll Bring:
Valid licensure and certification as a Special Education Teacher Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting Behavior endorsements (required for classroom behavior positions) Proven ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement instructional strategies Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Adaptability to meet the diverse needs within the elementary caseload
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct instruction and interventions to elementary students with varying abilities Develop, implement, and monitor effective IEPs tailored to each student's unique needs Foster a safe, nurturing classroom culture with a focus on positive behavioral supports Work closely with general education teachers and support staff to ensure inclusivity and consistency Collect and analyze student data to inform instruction and behavioral strategies Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
