9594932-54155 Job Description Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by supporting their growth and success in special education settings. This contract opportunity focuses on working directly with students across elementary and high school levels, helping them navigate academic and behavioral challenges in an onsite capacity. Immediate openings are available for professionals who bring expertise in Autism Programs, Early Childhood education, and Intellectual Disabilities.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher. Specialized experience with Autism programs at the elementary level, early childhood populations, or high school students with intellectual disabilities. Behavior Endorsement required. Strong classroom management and individualization skills. Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and staff.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction, behavioral support, and individualized interventions for assigned caseload. Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive educational plans. Develop and track progress on IEP goals, maintaining accurate and timely documentation. Engage with families to support student development and carryover of strategies. Participate in meetings and professional development activities as needed. Maintain a supportive, structured, and engaging classroom environment. This opportunity is fully onsite, involving no virtual instruction. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through early June 2027, offering stability and continuity for both students and staff.
