This rewarding contract opportunity spans across several key positions within the Green Bay area, where your expertise can nurture and guide learners with diverse needs. Position Details:
Start date: ASAP, ending June 3, 2027 Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week Three dedicated roles available: Elementary School Autism Program Early Childhood Special Education High School Intellectual Disability Program All positions require onsite attendance (no virtual options)
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field Valid Special Education Teaching License (SPED) in Wisconsin Endorsement in Elementary Special Education preferred Experience or coursework in behavior management strategies Prior work with autism programming, early childhood, or high school intellectual disabilities is highly desirable Exceptional communication and organizational skills Collaborative, empathetic, and patient teaching approach
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to your student caseload Foster inclusive, supportive classroom environments for diverse learners Collaborate closely with general educators, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes Employ effective behavioral interventions and instructional strategies specific to autism, intellectual disabilities, and early childhood Monitor student progress, adapt instruction, and document developmental milestones This is a unique chance to empower students in a school community recognized for its commitment and inclusivity.
