Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Wisconsin Special Education Cross Categorical #801 license or equivalent special education credential Previous experience working with K-1 students with high needs preferred Strong understanding of self-care, de-escalation, and behavior management strategies Flexible, compassionate, and adaptable in a dynamic educational environment Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group instruction to K-1 students in a cross-categorical setting Develop and implement IEPs to support students academic, behavioral, and personal care needs Employ evidence-based behavioral interventions and instructional strategies Closely monitor and record student progress, adjusting plans as needed Engage with families, support staff, and administration to foster student success
