Key Qualifications:

Valid West Virginia Teaching License with an endorsement in one or more of the following: Autism Spectrum (AS), Learning Disabilities (LD), Behavior Disorders (BD), or Mild/Moderate Impairments (MI) Prior experience in special education settings, ideally within a school environment Adaptable to either in-person or virtual (VOCO) educational delivery Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) effectively

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide instruction, accommodations, and support to students with special needs in accordance with their IEPs Collaborate with general educators, support staff, and families to facilitate student success Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and relevant school activities Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
