POSITION TITLE

Auxiliary Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or Equivalent Must meet federal and state certification requirements Must have Child Development Associate Credential Must be able to lift, bend, and squat as assignment may require Must have Background, Drug, and TB Clearance

REPORTS TO

School Principal; Director of Federal Programs

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists students while the teacher works with special groups. Assists teachers in general classroom duties and responsibilities. Provides assistance in standardized test preparation. Performs any other position related duties as assigned not to exceed time limits. Uses an appropriate time reporting system.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary and work year to be according to the current approved/applicable salary schedule for aides in line with credentials and experience.

EVALUATION

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
