Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Sub Teacher to join our vibrant educational community! Duties Deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum guidelines and lesson plans provided by the lead teacher or school administration Implement curriculum development strategies to support literacy, math, social-emotional learning, and other core subjects Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students Adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with autism or special educational requirements Maintain clear communication with parents and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities Follow school policies, mandated reporting laws, and child safety protocols diligently Utilize educational technologies such as computers and interactive tools to enhance learning experiences Support classroom routines, transitions, and activities to ensure a smooth school day for students Collaborate with teachers on lesson planning, classroom management techniques, and student assessments Qualifications Prior experience working with children in preschool, elementary or early childhood education settings is highly preferred Knowledge of curriculum implementation across subjects such as literacy education, math, Montessori methods or preschool programs Strong classroom management skills and experience in behavior management strategies Familiarity with working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and those with special needs such as autism spectrum disorder Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff Ability to adapt instruction based on individual student needs and classroom dynamics Experience using computers or educational technologies to support instruction Knowledge of mandated reporting laws, school policies, and childhood development principles Previous private school or Montessori experience is a plus but not required Join us in making a meaningful difference in young learners' lives!
