Hiring Behavioral Aide III:

$20.00-23.00/hour |Full time +Benefit eligible | North California Prep School | Monday-Friday | School Hours (approx. 6.5-hour shifts) About the Role As a Behavioral Aide III (BA III) , you'll play an important role in supporting students academically, behaviorally, and socially while working alongside teachers and other educational professionals. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with students and interested in gaining valuable classroom and teaching experience. In addition to providing behavioral and instructional support, BA III team members may serve as substitute teachers as needed , helping maintain a positive and consistent learning environment for students. What You'll Do Support teachers with classroom instruction and implementation of IEPs and BIPs Provide individualized academic and instructional support Serve as a substitute teacher as needed Use ABA strategies to encourage positive behaviors Track and document student progress, behaviors, and incidents Collaborate with teachers, supervisors, and school staff Assist with crisis situations using Pro-ACT and/or CPI techniques Supervise students during class, breaks, meals, transportation, and activities Participate in recreational activities, school events, and approved off-campus trips What We're Looking For Commitment to student success, safety, and well-being Patient, compassionate, and dependable Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to provide effective classroom and behavioral support Comfortable working with students with diverse learning and behavioral needs Flexible and able to adapt to changing student and classroom needs Professional, reliable, and punctual Positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to follow IEPs, BIPs, safety procedures, and established protocols Interest in teaching and supporting students in an educational setting

Must Have:

Bachelor's Degree - Required Interest in pursuing a career as a teacher Experience working with students in a school or treatment setting Ability to complete DOJ/FBI Live Scan background check and TB clearance , as required Strong communication skills and reliability Must be at least 18 years of age
