In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring that students continue to engage with the curriculum in the absence of their regular teacher. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in education, with experience in various teaching methodologies and classroom management techniques.

Duties:

Implement lesson plans and deliver instruction in accordance with established curriculum guidelines. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning environment. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special educational needs. Foster a supportive atmosphere for students, encouraging participation and engagement. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance during the assignment period. Collaborate with other educators to develop curriculum and lesson plans that enhance student learning experiences. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting. Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages. Familiarity with behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques. Experience in tutoring or providing individualized support to students is highly desirable. Knowledge of special education practices, literacy education, and math instruction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. Previous private school experience or experience working with students on the autism spectrum is beneficial. A background in curriculum development and lesson planning is preferred but not mandatory.
