Job Description
To build on a strong foundation of achievement and contribute to the realization of its ambitious institutional goals, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) invites applications for the position of Extra Help
- Substitute Teacher (EH26-048) .
FLSA:
Non-Exempt- Possess an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or 60 college credits with at least 6 hours in Early Childhood Education and coursework equivalent to a major in Early Childhood Education with experience teaching infants/toddlers and/or preschool aged children; or
- One year of child development experience in a nursery school, kindergarten, or licensed day care center and 30 semester hours of credits from an accredited college or university; or
- Completion of credentialing programs approved by the Department in accordance with Appendix G of Early Childhood Teacher Credentialing Programs ( Child Development Associate Credential, Certified Childcare Professional, Gateways to Opportunity Credentials) Preferred Qualifications
- A Baccalaureate degree in
