Plano Community Unit School District 88 Building Substitute Teacher at Emily G. Johns Intermediate School (grades 4- 6th) for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year.
Qualifications:
Substitute teaching certificate required PEL, Type 03 or Type 04 preferred ESL preferred but not required Successful candidate will be placed in a building substitute position at Emily G. Johns School for the remainder of the school year.Key Responsibilities:
Provide instruction and supervision for students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, following provided lesson plans and maintaining established classroom routines. Adapt to diverse classroom environments and grade levels. Collaborate with staff and administration to support students' academic and behavioral needs. Manage classroom behavior to create a safe and productive learning environment. Assist with non-teaching duties as needed, such as supervising transitions, lunch, and other common areas. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administration to ensure instructional objectives are met.Terms of Employment:
