: Principals
JOB GOALS
: Carry out the absent teacher's prepared lesson plans and perform all essential functions of a teacher in the classroom.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
: Follow the teacher's written lesson plans Create a positive learning environment Ensure that the goals of the plans are met Consult with the principal and/or staff to resolve questions and/or concerns Comply with all building procedures and schedules Prepare a written summary of work completed and any special notes Implement effective management procedures, maintain high expectations and uphold the student conduct code Create a referral for any infractions Work cooperatively with other teachers Uphold computer technology acceptable use policies. Build a working knowledge of the curriculum. Maintain the confidentiality of privileged information Take precautions to ensure staff/student safety Provide appropriate and consistent supervision Report evidence of suspected child abuse as required by law Supervise non-classroom duties when assigned Accepts personal responsibility for decisions and conduct Develop appropriate student relationships and serve as a positive role model for others Performs other specific job-related duties as directed
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
