Description:
Hifz Quran Teacher of Al-Rahmah Quran Academy, herein referred to as "AQA", Hifz Program (Quranic Memorization). The Quran Teacher is responsible for guiding the growth of the community in light of the Quran and Sunnah, and the development of AQA. This document will serve to clarify the duties and expectations of this position.
Reports to:
Tahfizul Quran Resident Scholar/Director. In absence of Resident Scholar, report to Associate Director of Tahfizul Quran Program.

Responsibilities Include:
Assist in teaching a structured full-time Hifz program for attaining Degrees/ Certifications/ Ijazas in the fields of Quranic study, memorization and Tajweed, and to further serve the community and general public as so requested by the QAB. Teach according to the Quran and Sunnah and utilize wisdom (hikmah) and effective problem solving skills in dealing with a multi-ethnic community. ? Teach students of the sisters Nazera Program proper Adab (manners) and to adapt to the life style of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) i.e. etiquettes of normal daily life of a good practicing Muslim. ? To work collectively with Resident Scholars to ensure continued progress of AQA and assist in the building of the community at large. ? Any other duties assigned by the QAB on a need basis. ? Abide by the ISB Constitution, its Bylaws as well as the Bylaws of the QAB. Perform related work as required by the AQA. The job requires an enthusiastic, imaginative and energetic individual capable of gaining the full potential from each child.
