Job Description
Long-term Kindergarten Substitute Teacher (Fall-November 1st) Christian Preschool and Kindergarten First Presbyterian Church, Westminster MD Part-Time - 30 hours/week Available until Filled We are looking for a dependable, enthusiastic, motivated, Christian Early Childhood Educator to join our staff. Qualifications Willing to undergo a background check upon employment Caring and nurturing attitude towards children Excellent verbal and written communication skills Essential Tasks Organize appropriate activities within curriculum guidelines. Follow and implement lesson plans that have been prepared by Kindergarten teacher. Have all necessary materials and preparations made for each day's activities. Collaborate and communicate with Kindergarten Teacher. Take responsibility for the general appearance, atmosphere, and reputation of the school. Maintain personal and professional courtesy and confidentiality at all times. Work to make sure the Preschool and Kindergarten is the best possible representative of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Respect and abide by the policies established for the Christian Preschool and Kindergarten Program. Understands and accepts that the Christian Preschool and Kindergarten Program is an integral part of the program and ministry of the First United Presbyterian Church under the ultimate authority of the session of the church.
