Goodrich Area Schools Premier Substitute Teacher Summary:
Goodrich Area Schools is seeking a dedicated and adaptable individual to join our team as a Premier Substitute who is passionate about teaching children of all ages and working in a collaborative environment with an amazing team of educators. Qualifications and Requirements Must qualify to hold a Michigan Daily Substitute Permit. Previous experience in an educational setting, preferably in a substitute or support role. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in using technology and educational software. Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and teaching styles. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. A child-centered, whole child approach to teaching and learning is preferred. A self-directed thinker and problem solver. Essential Functions and Representative Duties Fill in for teachers and support staff as needed, delivering lesson plans and maintaining classroom order. Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure that educational goals are met during substitute assignments. Implement instructional strategies to engage students and facilitate learning in a variety of subjects. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay updated on educational best practices. Support the implementation of school policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and a positive school culture. Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate varying assignments and locations within the District. Communicate effectively with students and colleagues to foster a collaborative educational environment. Share observations, suggestions, and insights that may be helpful to the classroom teacher regarding the day's instruction, student engagement, and classroom activities. Work Environment Work is performed throughout Goodrich School District. There is limited exposure to physical risk.

COMPENSATION
$19.51 per hour; Paid Holidays; Paid Snow Days; Paid Professional Development.
