Lamphere Schools Lamphere Schools is contracting the services of EDUStaff for Building Substitute Teacher
POSITION DETAILS
the substitute will report to the assigned building on school days where they will be directed to their assignment for the day. The position requires working in different classrooms at various grade levels within the assigned school providing meaningful instruction and maximizing the learning experience for all students.
SALARY:
$200/day ($225 when assigned to SE classroom), position includes sick, vacation and personal business days
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 60 college credits, required Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate, preferred Experience working with special needs students in a center-based setting, preferred Ability to maintain a well-managed, positive learning environment Flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment Willing to report to other locations, as needed Strong communication, interpersonal and computer skills Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans and objectives Facilitate student progress in the functional curriculum Provide effective individualized instruction to students in assigned classroom Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment Provide necessary support, communication, direction and feedback to assigned paraprofessional staff Maintain regular, positive communication with building staff Ability to withstand the strain of the position Regular and punctual attendance is required Other duties as assigned by school administration
