Job Description

Wonder Zone Instructor - Early Childhood Education (Long-Term Substitute) Love working with young children? Lakeville Area Schools is hiring a Wonder Zone Instructor to lead enriching early childhood activities for children ages 3-6 in a safe, engaging environment.
What You'll Do:
Plan and lead age-appropriate, theme-based curriculum aligned with Minnesota Early Childhood Indicators of Progress Supervise small and large groups in classroom, gym, playground, cafeteria, and field trip settings Support the Wonder Zone program's mission and goals within the district's early childhood services
Schedule:
Long-Term Substitute, 8/31/2026 - 1/4/2027; Mon-Fri, 6:15 AM-1:45 PM (7.5 hrs/day, 37.5 hrs/week); 75 days +
Event Days Pay:
$26.57 - $29.92/hour, depending on experience (Non-Licensed Instructors Contract)
Qualifications:
B.A./B.S.
in Early Childhood Education preferred; 2-year Early Childhood degree or equivalent experience required Current CPR and First Aid Certification Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Comfortable working independently with attention to detail Why Lakeville Area Schools?
