Weekly Pay Job Overview Flexible Educators is seeking dependable, enthusiastic, and bilingual Substitute Teachers to support schools in the Downtown Kansas City, Missouri area. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and enjoy helping students succeed. As a Bilingual Substitute Teacher, you will provide classroom instruction and support when regular teachers are absent. You will help students understand lessons, communicate effectively in English and another language, and maintain a positive, engaging learning environment. Responsibilities Follow lesson plans and classroom instructions provided by the regular teacher. Provide instructional support to students in English and another language as needed. Assist students with assignments, classroom activities, and daily routines. Support students who may benefit from bilingual communication. Maintain a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment. Manage classroom behavior and follow school policies and procedures. Take attendance and complete classroom documentation as required. Communicate professionally with school staff and administrators. Adapt to different grade levels, subjects, and classroom settings. Qualifications Valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate required. High school diploma or equivalent. Bilingual proficiency in English and another language. Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Dependable, patient, and adaptable. Ability to successfully complete required background checks and onboarding requirements. Ability to follow lesson plans and classroom procedures.
