Position Overview We are seeking passionate, adaptable, and empathetic Substitute Teachers to support our student body. As a Substitute Teacher at DATA, you will step into a creative, tech-forward environment and ensure that learning continues seamlessly when regular educators are absent. You will maintain a positive, equitable, and productive classroom environment where students feel supported in their academic and creative pursuits. Key Responsibilities Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the classroom teacher. Maintain a safe, respectful, and joyful classroom culture aligned with our school values. Support student curiosity and engagement with digital arts, technology, and core academics. Utilize empathetic practices to manage classroom dynamics and support diverse student needs. Collaborate with our supportive staff and school leadership to ensure a seamless school day. Leave detailed notes and feedback for the regular classroom teacher regarding student progress.

Qualifications Experience:

Comfort or familiarity with digital arts and technology enviroment is a plus, but ot requiered.

Skills:

Strong, proactive classroom management and communication skills.

Licensing:

A state teaching license is not required to apply.
