High School Diploma or any college degree. Responsibilities:

Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies.

This includes:

Leading instruction in the classroom by conducting the teacher's existing lesson plans Instructing students on a variety of classroom topics/courses Building positive relationships Assigning reasonable tasks and homework Motivate students to learn, and encourage classroom participation Create a classroom environment that's conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students Adapt to the various learning styles of students For long-term assignments

Substitute Duties:

• Provide substitute coverage for teachers in various classrooms and grade levels
• Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by the absent teacher
• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment for students
• Assist students with their assignments and provide academic support as needed
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure continuity of instruction

Experience:

• Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
• Knowledge of autism, special education, literacy education, preschool, childhood development, and math
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and teaching styles
