$125/Day About the Role Dedicated School Staffing is seeking reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic Long-Term Intervention Specialists to provide instructional and educational support to students with disabilities when full-time staff are absent or are temporarily vacant. This role helps guide and support students with academic, social, or developmental challenges. Key Responsibilities Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the regular classroom teacher Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, respectful learning environment Provide clear instruction and support to students throughout the school day Adapt to various grade levels and subject areas as needed Take attendance and complete any required documentation Communicate effectively with school staff and administrators Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, or other assigned duties Required Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Intervention Specialist Degree Valid substitute teaching license or higher teaching license (as required by state regulations) Clean criminal background checks Adherence to the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators Preferred Qualifications Prior teaching or childcare experience Familiarity with classroom management strategies experience working with special needs/autistic students What We Offer Opportunities to gain classroom experience Potential for long-term substitute opportunities Potential pathways to full-time teaching roles Options for minor medical benefits Enrollment in School Employees Retirement System (SERS)
