Permanent District Substitute Compensation:

$150.00 per day for each day of student attendance. Successful candidate shall be eligible for single healthcare benefits in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the Agreement between the Perry Board of Education and the Perry Classroom Teachers Association (PCTA).

Job Summary:

The District Permanent Substitute may be utilized at the elementary, middle school, or high school as needed. The assignment is an 8 hour work day to occur anytime between 7:15am-3:45pm. The successful candidate will serve as a substitute classroom teacher on a daily basis for all student days of attendance within the 2026-27 school year. This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher or a new teacher seeking to gain experience in a district with a caring, student-centered culture and a strong focus on the student learning experience.
