Position Overview Casady School is seeking an engaging, dependable, and professional educator to serve as an Upper Division Long-Term Substitute Teacher for high school students. This role offers a unique long-term schedule across two phases during the 2026-2027 academic year. The ideal candidate will maintain classroom continuity, foster a positive and focused learning environment, and support students in upholding Casady's high academic and behavioral standards. Enthusiasm for working with high school students and supporting their academic growth is paramount. Schedule & Timeline This position requests availability for two distinct blocks during the school year, outlined below. Key Responsibilities Instruction & Classroom Management:

Facilitate daily lesson plans and assignments provided by the department faculty, ensuring learning momentum is maintained.

Student Engagement:

Support Upper Division students (Grades 9-12) in their coursework, encouraging critical thinking, responsibility, and academic integrity.

Supervision & Safety:

Maintain a respectful, productive, and safe classroom atmosphere aligned with Casady's culture of respect and community.

Communication:

Collaborate with the Upper Division leadership and department colleagues to provide updates on student progress and lesson completion.

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor's degree required.

Experience:

Experience teaching, tutoring, or working with high school students is preferred.
