Job Description

Milton-Freewater Oregon is a multi-cultural community located in the northeast corner of the state within ten miles of Walla Walla Washington. POSITION

Substitute Teacher - District Wide

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of instructional methodologies effective with elementary students. Knowledge of student assessment techniques including curriculum based assessment. Knowledge of classroom organization and student management techniques. Knowledge of planning and implementing instruction. Knowledge of Oregon's curriculum and common core standards and benchmarks. Demonstrated skills in providing equitable opportunities for success for all students. Ability to work in a cooperative, positive manner with students, staff, parents and community. Experience in using data driven instruction preferred. Experience with integrating technology in instruction preferred. Spanish language skills preferred. Possess or qualify for Substitute Teaching license.

COMPENSATION

Substitute Pay is $236.26 per day.
