This is an opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience while maintaining a schedule that works for you. Substitute Teachers play a critical role in ensuring continuity in the classroom by maintaining structure, supporting students, and following instructional plans in the absence of the regular teacher. What You Can Expect Flexible scheduling based on your availability Daily pay ranging from $90-$110 Paid training to prepare you for the classroom Fingerprinting reimbursement Opportunities for long-term assignments and consistent placements What You'll Do as a Substitute Teacher Follow lesson plans and guide students through daily instruction Maintain a structured, respectful, and productive classroom environment Manage student behavior and keep students engaged Supervise students during transitions, lunch, or recess as needed Communicate effectively with school staff regarding student behavior or concerns For long-term assignments, you may also take on additional responsibilities such as lesson planning and deeper classroom support.
