Title I Campus-Instructional Classroom AideJOB DESCRIPTION
This supplemental position has been approved for the upcoming school year. This position is 100% funded under the ESSA Title I, Part A program and will require time and effort in the form of biannual certification. In the absence of Title I, Part A funds and/or the needs of the district, continuation of this position can be rescinded. Assist teacher in preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Work under supervision of certified teacher. DUTIES andRESPONSIBILITIES
The Instructional Classroom Aide must spend 90-95% of their day fulfilling the responsibilities defined in the job description or other duties as assigned as related to meeting the intent and purpose of Title I, Part A per TEA guidance. Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays. Assist with administration of scoring of objective testing instruments or work assignments. Help maintain neat and orderly classroom. Help with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment. Help teacher keep administrative records and prepare required reports. Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers. Conduct instructional exercises assigned by the teacher; work with individual students or small groups. Help supervise students throughout the school day, inside and outside the classroom. This includes lunchroom, bus, and playground duty. Keep teacher informed of special needs or problems of individual students. Participate in staff development training programs to improve job performance. Participate in faculty meetings and special events as assigned. Maintains confidentiality. Maintain regular attendance. Perform other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE

Education/Certification:
