This is a 1.0 FTE vacancy, grade
A-09 187
days, located at Grace Hopper-Pathways.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support to teacher and to students Ability to communicate with parents. Collaborative team player. Willingness to work under teacher direction and supervision. Ability to work effectively with staff, parents, and children
EXPERIENCE
Experience working with students Experience working in a elementary school setting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Clear understanding of the educational needs of students, which includes, but not limited to, assistance with physical, or sensory needs. Must be reliable, dependable and flexible. Assistants must meet the requirements of the NCLB and Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) at the time of hire. A high school diploma, and An Associate Degree or two years of college study At least 60 semester hours, OR a 455 on the parapro test
SALARY:
Salary range based upon 26/27 pay plan. Newly hired employees with previous experience in their field may receive salary credit for up to five years of experience related to the job being filled.
