POSITION TITLE

Aide/Paraprofessional - Instructional and Special Education

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent Highly Qualified Requirements

REPORTS TO

Principal or Principal designee and Special Education Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES

Teach students while the teacher works with special groups. Assist teacher in general duties (i.e., duplicating, giving make-up tests). Provide assistance in standardized test preparation. Accompany students to the library and computer lab. Must lift, bent, squat as assignment may require. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the principals or Supervisor of Special Education. Maintain the confidentiality of student records.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary and work year to be according to the current approved/applicable salary schedule.

EVALUATION

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
