Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students with special needs as part of an engaging school environment this academic year and beyond. We're seeking four dedicated paraprofessional facilitators to partner with virtual Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), helping to create a positive, productive space for student therapy sessions and learning. This is a contracted opportunity with guaranteed full-time hours Monday through Friday.
Essential Qualifications:
Associate's degree or higher OR successful completion of the WorkKeys assessment Previous experience working within a school setting Ability to pass fingerprints and background checks Adaptability and willingness to assist in various classroom settings as needs arise Effective interpersonal skills for working collaboratively with teachers, virtual SLPs, and students Organized, reliable, and enthusiastic about promoting student successKey Responsibilities:
Support virtual SLPs by preparing students for their remote service sessions at designated school locations Provide attentive supervision and facilitate communication between students and virtual SLPs during therapy times Step in to assist teachers in classrooms as needed when students are not in session with SLPs Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages student participation and engagement Manage light documentation and help monitor student progress as directed by educators and therapeutic staff Maintain confidentiality and uphold district protocols This assignment runs immediately through late May 2027, offering consistent hours and the experience of working in a collaborative, student-centered atmosphere.
