KinderCare is seeking a Specialized Pre K Assistant Teacher to support a dynamic early learning classroom at Halcyon Park KinderCare. In this role, you'll assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering developmentally appropriate lessons that build school readiness in literacy, math, and social-emotional skills. You'll help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom, supervise children in daily routines, support individualized learning needs, communicate with families, and maintain compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards while modeling KinderCare's nurturing, collaborative culture. Responsibilities Support lead teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate Pre K curriculum Assist with planning and leading small-group and whole-group learning activities Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, and outdoor play Support individualized learning needs and behavior guidance plans Document children's progress and assist with observational assessments Communicate effectively and warmly with children, families, and staff Uphold health, safety, and state licensing regulations at all times Prepare and organize classroom materials, centers, and learning spaces Participate in training and professional development opportunities Required Skills Classroom management support Early childhood curriculum support Child supervision and safety Lesson and activity preparation Observation and documentation of child development Behavior guidance techniques Parent and family communication Basic computer and record-keeping skills Knowledge of early childhood licensing and regulations Collaboration with teaching teams
