Position Overview:
We are seeking talented and passionate Instructional Aide to join our team in the Fullerton area. In this role, you will facilitate engaging and educational enrichment activities for students in Grades TK
  • 6 during the after-school program hours.
You will create a fun, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where students can explore new interests, build confidence, and develop their academic, social, and creative skills through interactive lessons and hands-on activities. You will inspire curiosity, encourage participation, and foster a love of learning while supporting each student's individual growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging enrichment activities and lessons for students in Grades TK-6. Create a fun, safe, and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and participation. Supervise and manage students during the program hours Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, with schedules between 3:00 PM
  • 6:00 PM (3hrs) and Wednesday 1:00 PM
  • 6:00 PM (5 hrs) Adapt teaching methods and activities to meet the different learning needs and abilities of students.
Encourage positive behavior and reinforce classroom expectations. Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to parents and program coordinators when needed. Prepare and organize teaching materials, learning resources, and activity supplies. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times. Foster students' social, emotional, and academic development through interactive activities. Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school staff regarding student concerns or achievements. Perform other duties related to the enrichment program as assigned by the site supervisor/ Program manager.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is preferred. At least two years of college (48 semester units), an associate's degree or higher, or proof of certification through a local assessment that meets the requirements of the "Every Student Succeeds Act". Ability to provide negative TB scan certificate Ability to submit proof of CPR and First Aid Certification Ability to pass a background check and livescan. Previous teaching experience, especially in an after-school or enrichment setting, is preferred Strong classroom management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Availability to start this August
  • June 2026-27 Availability Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with schedules between 3:00 PM
  • 6:00(3hrs) PM And Wednesday 1:00
  • 6:00PM(5hrs)
