Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Kumon Center Assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role involves assisting with curriculum implementation, engaging with children, and ensuring smooth classroom operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, strong communication skills, and experience working with children of various ages. As a Kumon Center Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students develop their academic skills and confidence through structured learning activities. Responsibilities Support the instructor in delivering curriculum lessons aligned with Kumon methods and learning technology tools Assist with lesson planning and preparation to ensure effective instruction Engage with students during tutoring sessions, providing guidance and encouragement Manage classroom activities to promote a positive and productive learning environment Monitor student progress and communicate updates to the instructor Assist with administrative tasks such as attendance tracking and material organization Foster a nurturing environment that supports early childhood education, preschool, and special education needs as applicable Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities Support the implementation of classroom management strategies to ensure safety and engagement Requirements Experience working with children, including classroom experience or childcare roles Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching methodologies Familiarity with learning technology and educational tools used in classroom settings Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff Background in early childhood education, preschool experience, or special education is a plus Ability to manage classroom activities and maintain an organized learning environment Passion for education and helping students succeed academically Prior tutoring or teaching experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
